Nicaragua Throwback

A few years ago I spent four weeks in beautiful Leon, Nicaugua. It was one of the best experiences of my life. It is a rare experience to be able to spend an extended period of time in another country, learning about their culture and who they are. I consider myself so blessed to have been able to been able to study these people and their way of life. There was so much beauty there, but there was also a ton of hardship, heartbreak, loss, and discouragement. These loving and sweet people have so much of a need. I thank God for people like Sandra and Preston Barnum, who I lived with. They are there everyday, loving and helping, just as Jesus did. I will never be able to thank them for letting me stay with them and letting me have this life changing experience!
