What I’ve been up to-Family Sessions

One thing that really sucked about me stepping back from posting on socials was that I didn’t get to post all my favorites from family sessions the past few years. So here is a blog post dedicated to exactly that. I love these families so much you guys.

The Gutowski family is special because I’ve known Erika since we were three years old. The famous story goes that we actually met while playing on our tricyles and we’ve been friends ever since. I’m so grateful to have a friendship that’s so easy to come back to and continue like no time has passed. These kids have already grown since these photos but this was my absolute favorite session with them from 2020. I think you’ll see why when you see how absolutely precious Evan and Emma are.

Whenever I think of Diedra and Kimili and their sweet family I think of the sweetest most laid back people I’ve ever met. They make having a family portrait session seem easy. Even when their kids have been at difficult ages to get great photos, we always do. I definetly credit their calm demeanor along with the fact that Kaidyn and Kolton are so well mannered and behaved. Don’t get me wrong, you don’t have to have a perfect family to get great shots, but this family definetly has a particular super power.

The Hagens will always have a special place in my heart because I was a nanny for them for many years. In that time I came to love each member of this family and was so grateful of how generous and loving they were to me. I’ve watched these girls grow from preteens to college bound and I have to say that I miss them terribly. Here’s a photo from my favorite session with them from 2020.

John and Elissa Smith mean so much to me and I have come to love them like they are a part of my own family. Elissa not only keeps my hair looking awesome but has become a close friend. I’ve also been friends with John for many many years. He has walked beside my family through some of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through.
